We’re looking for an inquisitive individual with a passion for technology and communication to join our business development team. We help leading vehicle manufacturers to enhance the functionality, usability and reliability of their electronics systems. This role gives you the chance to become involved with all aspects of sales, marketing and administration within an innovative technology business. Full on-the-job training is provided both from a technological and a professional development perspective, so a curious mind may be more important than experience. You will assist in a team whose duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Progressing sales opportunities with customer from initial contact, through technical discussion, to quote and closure
  • Building relationships with key customers to identify new areas in which add2’s products and services could enhance testing and development
  • Helping to discover new potential customers for add2 through social channels, and later during visits to key OEM technical centres nationwide
  • Producing a wide variety of promotional material such as emails, brochures, videos, case studies and more
  • Helping to attract new customers to add2 through the production of marketing campaigns, social media posts, paid advertising and more
  • Communicating efficiently and professionally with add2’s existing customer base throughout the sales cycle, via scheduled messaging
  • To assist with the processing of purchase orders, invoicing and shipping arrangements for outgoing customer orders
  • To help the production team to procure key components required for the manufacture of add2 products
  • To assist in general office management and company record-keeping activies

Essential skill requirements:

  • Willingness to engage with and seek to understand complex concepts
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent time management, with the ability to juggle several projects
  • Microsoft Office competent, especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Desired skill requirements:

  • Experience in sales to businesses with complex purchasing processes
  • Experience in writing, graphic design or video editing
  • Experience with enterprise management software
  • Degree holder in any discipline with STEM qualification at AS level or above
