Where is Genix Used?
Genix is our patented technology used for flexible signal conditioning; it is used as a stand-alone system, in our real-time targets and in our MICROGen range of rapid control prototyping hardware.
How Configurable?
At the highest end, a Genix Reconfigurable Signal Conditioning board may be Input or Output, Analogue or Digital – just select the interface you want using the configuration utility and you’re done!
Rack Based
To support a wide range of applications Genix can be supplied in a wide range of Racks ranging from 4-Card slot to 21-Card Slot versions and beyond.
Typically, each signal conditioning board has 16 channels.
Connectivity
One of the other time consuming aspects of interfacing computer

electronics to real-world I/O is time that can be wasted connecting up the signals and trying to work out what goes where.
What makes it so easy?
Because each I/O line connects via a high current screw terminal at the front of the card and directly relates to the channels shown on the screen you can easily see that a particular wire belongs to its signal.
You can even search for a signal by name and the Configuration Utility will help you identify how you have configured the interface!
Will it meet my needs?
Because a wide range of cards is available ranging from low current to high current I/O, low voltage to high voltage I/O, special purpose boards, prototyping boards and more, there will always be something to suit your needs. |
