add2 announces a new range of compact CAN interfaces, initially supporting PC USB connectivity, to be known as the ‘COMMDongle’ range.
Approximately the size of a USB software dongle or memory stick, the interfaces have been introduced to support add2’s existing products, such as the LVTGO-VBS vehicle battery simulators, MICROGen and VISUALCONNX. Fully-certified Windows drivers are also available for 32 and 64bit systems, making the new range attractive for many applications.
Based on a high-performance DSP controller and priced very competitively, these devices are available in Pro ranges, with the ‘Pro’ offering additional features such as galvanic isolation, audible indication and software-controlled bus termination.
