Have you ever had reports of functional testing errors from customers? How often do you have difficulties reproducing these faults? Are you looking to test ever more complicated electrical systems?
We’ve recently released a new 80V LVTGO-VBS unit which facilities a wider range of EMC standards and robustness testing than ever before.
This development has made the system suitable for 48V systems featured in hybrid and electrical vehicle testing applications, besides traditional petrol and diesel driven vehicles.

As the complexity and number of in-vehicle electronic controllers increases, so does the likelihood of their failure, especially during cranking or start/stop scenarios. When a fault does occur, reproducing the problem can prove to be extremely challenging.
The LVTGO-VBS addresses these problems by simulating battery and ground voltages commonly found during real-world use cases. Delivered waveforms can be randomised and repeated, substantially broadening possible test coverage.
The system helps organisations to address intermittent fault issues that are otherwise difficult to isolate. It does so in a way that offers broad coverage and is repeatable, allowing any issues to be easily repeated and thoroughly investigated. Therefore, the unit is helpful to engineers when investigating embedded control issues.
