Find out moreThe Tee-piece CAN distribution units are designed to support the construction of simple CAN and power networks for both H4 and H3 distributed I/O DIN rail units.
The CAN interfaces used on H3 and H4 devices may be daisy-chained to support up to 110 individual nodes on a bus. The Tee-pieces provide a convenient means of plugging in a compatible CAN lead, such as one from the COMM Dongle USB Range, to feed power in from the push fit terminals plugged into the side.
Where supported, the H4 connected device may link to a local LIN bus. The Tee-piece can connect this through also, building up a LIN network as required and bringing out the LIN connection to be linked to an appropriate LIN interface at each Tee node.
