Find out moreThe H1-ECUPSU-SW power supply switch card is a 16-channel configurable switch board with 4 connectors. Two supplies are accommodated with the ability to select from the supply or via a current measurement board, which can be directed through the board to allow current measurement of one or a combination of ECMs. The board’s ‘make-before-break’/’break-before-make’ timings may be pre-configured to ensure no power interruption occurs when making current measurements.
The card is normally used in large multi-controller HIL systems to test one or more electronic control modules’ power supply for issues such as quiescent current or current management and protection functionality. All ECM facing lines are protected against overload and short circuit.
The power supply section may be controlled from add2’s PC-based HIL configuration software, HCU, or the configuration CAN bus. One LED per ECM power connection is available to indicate the supply selection and trip status. The channels can be grouped to support multiples of 10A with low voltage drops.
