Built within VISUALCONNX, the LVTest low voltage testing software is a Windows program that controls the add2 LVTGO-VBS system. It allows engineers to specify and randomise waveforms for delivery to a device under test.
Functionality includes test triggering via CAN message, COM interfacing for test automation, and the ability to configure waveforms. Engineers can choose from a range of pre-configured waveforms to test to automotive standards.
Alternatively, a broad waveform type can be selected and then its voltage and time values parameterised in order to vary between certain nominated values. Tests can proceed for minutes, hours or days.
